By suppressing the truth

It has taken me a while to come to this conclusion, but I can definitely see the part that the modern Christian church is playing when it comes to keeping people in sin. I am not saying that the modern church tells people to sin, because they obviously will not do that directly, but their method is to make it seem as if God is now not too worried about when people sin, because of grace. You will also notice that the vast majority of modern churches will say that God's laws are done away with, but they will not give you a scripture to back that statement up, because they know that the majority of people do not study their Bible and will accept any lie, as long as the person telling it looks nice and is wearing smart clothes. The modern church knows that if it told the truth exactly as God expects, then they would never be able to get enough money to keep things going, so they instead have to keep their congregation members happy, by putting aside what they think are the more inconvenient things about God. There is a dark side effect to what they are doing though and it is that there are people who genuinely want to serve God, according to the way He has specified, but some of these people are being persuaded by the churches, to give up on taking God seriously by just joining in with what everyone else seems to be doing and ignoring the people who are trying to deceive us. If it was possible for the people who really want to serve God, to get together, then they would definitely be doing something to reduce the evil things that are happening in this world, but because all of these modern religions are set up to neutralise them, this then allows the evil to increase unchecked, because a lot of those people are now either tied up doing some pointless rituals, or they are put off from trying to serve God properly, because they can plainly tell that all of these religions are fake. The other interesting thing that the modern church will not tell you is that they have also done away with the New Testament as well, because there are some commandments in it that they also like to break, so you might as well say that they do not believe in the Bible at all.

By making God soft

You will also notice that these modern Christians act in a way as if there is no way that God would punish them for breaking one of the least commandments, but we can see that this is not the case by looking in I Samuel 6:17-21 which says "And these are the golden emerods which the Philistines returned for a trespass offering unto the LORD; for Ashdod one, for Gaza one, for Askelon one, for Gath one, for Ekron one; And the golden mice, according to the number of all the cities of the Philistines belonging to the five lords, both of fenced cities, and of country villages, even unto the great stone of Abel, whereon they set down the ark of the LORD: which stone remaineth unto this day in the field of Joshua, the Beth–shemite. And he smote the men of Beth–shemesh, because they had looked into the ark of the LORD, even he smote of the people fifty thousand and threescore and ten men: and the people lamented, because the LORD had smitten many of the people with a great slaughter. And the men of Beth–shemesh said, Who is able to stand before this holy LORD God? and to whom shall he go up from us? And they sent messengers to the inhabitants of Kirjath–jearim, saying, The Philistines have brought again the ark of the LORD; come ye down, and fetch it up to you." and we see here that God killed over 50,000 people just because they looked into the ark, while the modern church will only tell you that God is love and don't worry about things. Some churches will also try to tell you that God is now different in the New Testament and is only love, but we can read of how God will be treating people in the future in Revelation 9:13-21 which says "And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt. And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts." and we see here that God will still punish unrepentant people as harshly as as He always has and when the day of His wrath arrives, one third of the people left in this world will eventually be killed.

By not giving people God's warnings

When people are taking God's word for a joke and think that they can ignore what He has said, it is the job of people, who say they are God's servants, to warn them of the consequences of what happens if they do not repent. We can read of what God expects in Ezekiel 3:16-21 which says "And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul." and we see here that God will require the blood of the church leaders who refuse to warn their members of any sins that they can visibly see them doing. If the leaders feel that getting the money of sinners is more important than helping to save their souls, so that their buildings can be filled, then they will most likely find that they would have been better off just burning and melting any money that they have received.

By hiding God's true character

Here is another thing that I am sure that you have not heard from a preacher or pastor, they will obviously tell you the usual God is love, but they will most likely fail to explain to you that the God of the Bible is the coolest of them all. We can read of how cool and relaxed God is in Genesis 2:15-20 which says "And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him." and we see here how God was so concerned about the man being alone that He formed the animals and then bought them to Adam. Could you imagine the leader of a country in this world being so concerned about one of his citizens that he would break of from his normal duties and then would go and visit the person so that he could find him a help meet? Notice also that God did not form the animals and then tell Adam to go and name them, but He instead bought the animals to Adam as if Adam was the customer and God must also have had a relaxed conversation with Adam to explain that he should give them their names. So all of the preachers who try to make it seem as if God has a terrifying personality, are just trying to keep you away from Him, so that you will just listen to them, rather than sending you to God's word directly, so that you can really see what God is like to people that want to serve Him. Note also that everything was fine between God and Adam, until he sinned, so we can also expect God to be distant if we carry on sinning as well, but for Him to be by us if we give up on sin and will do what He says.

By hiding sin

There are also people in these modern Christian churches who seem to experts when it comes to keeping people in sin and they seem to have multiple techniques that they can use. One of these techniques is similar to how the Pharisees became so experienced in the law that they could easily slot themselves into what they thought were holes in it. The modern Christian will mention lots of different worldly activities and then ask if each of them is a sin according to the Bible, the thing that they forget, though, is that a person who is risen with Christ should have no interest in any of these activities. We can read of what they should be like in Colossians 3:1-15 which says "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful." and we see here no mention of having an orgy or going to the gladiator fight or going to the chariot race, so you would not expect a person who is risen with Christ to want to go to the cinema, have a party with heathens, even if they pretend to be Christians, go to a sports meeting, watch television, waste money on a selfish holiday, play a games console, take part in a pagan holiday or do anything else where the influence of the Devil is greater than the influence of God. It should also be obvious that an activity has to include God's word, in order for it to have His influence in it. So if a modern Christian keeps on talking positively about activities that are devoid of the influence of God, then you have to wonder if they are risen with Christ, or if they are instead just a heathen in disguise.

We need your help

With the modern Christian church seemingly on the side of the forces of darkness, who can take their place when it comes to speaking out against the evil things that are in the world? We can know that God does want this to happen because of what it says in Psalms 94:11-16 which says "The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity. Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law; That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked. For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance. But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it. Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?" so we see here that God is looking for people who are fed up with what is going on and are willing to serve Him, so that the evildoers do not end up having the whole place to themselves.
