The three kings
Now you might think that the title of this article is extreme and I am sure that the church brother, who experienced the sermon with me, would probaly think so as well, but I felt that this preacher had oversteped the mark enough to be described this way. I decided to go with a church brother to a church that had a big meeting on and he warned me beforehand that they were a bit spirit filled, but we found out which spirit it was by the end. We sat down and listened to the entertainment filled proceedings, then the time came for the main men with the power to step in. The proceedings almost reminded me of a video game where the bosses became more difficult to beat as you progress through it and it seemed to be a similar thing here, because you could see how the power of the men that were speaking was increasing as each one came up. The last three speakers seemed to be the ones that had the real power and I had a feeling that the other two could easily have done the same thing that the last speaker did do. The main power that I could see that these three men had was that their voices and the way that they chose their words, could get the women in the audience to "be filled with the spirit", where they would start to move their bodies in strange way, then sometimes cry out in an incomprehensible way.
Speaking like a dragon?
We had to sit through this for a little while, until it was the turn of the main man for the day to speak and he actually started out in a surprising way, compared to how you would expect these types of preachers to begin their sermons. I was waiting for him to start with the loud fancy words to get the women going, but he instead told everyone to turn to Daniel 3 and he ended up reading the whole of the chapter, which was a surprise. He was even giving a running commentry as he was reading, with his own loose interpretations scattered about, but when he finished the time finally came for the manipulation to begin. He then was getting the crowd to to shout out loudly, but he didn't tell them what to should and instead just left it up to the imaginations of their hearts. This went on for a short while after which the time finally came for his devil to make its move, by saying that there are some people in the room who were not showing their praise like he wanted. He then said that everyone should stand up and shout their praise and that if any one stayed sitting down and did not join in with the antics, then the other people should move away from them. When he told every one to jump up and shout their praise, I just stayed sitting down, while the brother next to me seemed to start getting up, but stopped and another man who was sitting beside us also did not get up. Some of the women who had jumped up at his command, looked at us in a seemingly disapproving way, but I was not concerned because a church is where people are supposed to get edified in the word of God, not to play around as if it is a joke. It is interesting that the preacher was talking about Daniel 3, where the three Hebrew men did not bow down to Nebucadnezzars image, then he decided to make a similar proclamation and three men that I could see did not do what he commanded, buy sitting down in defiance of his word. When he was giving the orders for the crowd to shout out, I commented to my church brother that I wonder if this is what a person sounds like, when they speak like a dragon. But when he decided to give an order that could divide the people, then this reminded me of the command of the beasts image in Revelation 13, where it looks as if the image was commanding people to be put to death, for not worshipping it. We can read about the second beast and its image in Revelation 13:11-15 which says "And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed." and we see here how the second beast and the image both like to give orders, while you won't find any thing happening like this in the church in the New Testament, so you have to wonder where these preachers did get this idea from.I also get the feeling that he was a little bit annoyed at the fact that some of us were just sitting through his antics, as if we were not impressed by what he was saying, so it was as if he decided to get a bit of revenge on the people who seemed to be ignoring what he was saying.
Playing with a devil
Some people might say that what happened at this event is nothing to worry about, but you will probably find that it is the people who are living a comfortable life, who would say this. Don't be too surprised if these very same comfortable ones are the same type of people who will also say that the beast is nothing to worry about when he arrives, with them then panicing and worshipping the beasts image, when they finally realise that their lives are actually at risk and they might also mistakingly think that God will just forgive them, . If any of you have an ear and know some people who partake in events like this, then you should start to warn them now about the potential consequences of listening to and obeying these preachers of doom.
The deception then continued with the preacher then giving a command, which then made the people get up and it looked as if this was the time for a customery run around the church building. This was the point at which the church brother who was beside me, decided that he had had enough and we decided to leave these people to the games that they were playing. It also turned out later that this preacher had put up on Facebook that he thought he had preached a good sermon, which goes to show that these preachers are only using the reaction of the audiance and their own hearts, to determine if what they are doing is of any use. It seems as if the Devil has somehow convinced them that they are wonderful, which then seems to make them think that God is ok with the nonsense that they are doing, but Jesus makes it plain to us the state of the people who will be making it into God's kingdom, which we can read of in Matthew 5:1-12 which says "And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you." and we see here how the preacher should have been trying to get the congregation to behave, but instead he was just wasting their souls, by convincing them that their playing about was somehow something that God agreed with.
Resist the devil and he will flee from you
If you go to a church that has regularly seems to have someone who is like the devil preaching to you, then it is time for you to leaave that place as soon as possible and we can give you advice about what you should be doing instead. If instead you go to a church and you enjoy and support the sweet words that are preached by these devils, then the only thing that you can do is to hope that God will someday open your eyes, to make it obvious that you can tell when a preacher is like a devil simply by seeing what the end result of their antics is. If you only end up coming back week after week, to be entertained by their words, the singing and the dancing, then I am afraid that you are under the spell of a devil preacher, while if the preacher is saying something that you convicts your soul, with you then going to the preacher afterwards, to ask what you should do in order to fix your life, then that preacher is now preaching the proper words that he should and you had better follow after whatever he is doing, not just what he is saying.
