The need for the drugs
When I was first baptised I never had the slightest idea that things would come to this. I know that when it comes to healing, teaching the word of God, engineering and telling the future that the God of the Bible is the foremost expert in the whole of existence, but when it comes to dishing out drugs I thought that was one thing that mankind had a monopoly on. Ever since shortly before my baptism, I have noticed something strange about the way that I feel and it seemed to me as if I have continually been on a high. When I was first baptised things were not that bad because I had a bit of money saved up, so that I could pay the bills, and I seemed to be getting a reasonable amount of work to keep me going. When I entered the second year of being self employed, things had gone down a bit and by the end of the second year I could see that there might be trouble on the horizon. When the third year started thing were starting to get bad and I realised that there must be something that I was missing.
The interesting thing that I found though was that it didn't seem possible for me to ever feel depressed even with everything that was happening. I remember that one of my church brothers was concerned for me, I think it was because of the way I was dressing, and he seemed to think that I might need some help (the shrunken head kind) but when I tried to explain to him that I seem to have lost the ability to become depressed, I could see that he was sceptical because of the look on his face. I remember a while back when I was unemployed, that there was a time when I was depressed and I can still sort of remember how bad it felt. The way that things were happening was worse now, but I was seemingly as high as a kite even though I knew that I should have been feeling even a little bit of depression because of what was happening. From observing what was happening I also realised that I had seemingly become addicted to God's word, I found that I was finding every part of the Bible interesting, even the parts that I used to think of as boring before. I also found that I seemed to be getting more understanding about some of the more cryptic parts of the Bible like the end time prophecies and the parables that Jesus had taught. Some people seem to mistakenly think that all of the parables have been explained, but upon further examination I found that He will explain some of them but leave others unexplained and I have a feeling that the explanation for these ones is supposed to be given by the Holy Spirit. This is also a good way of seeing if God is close to you because He will obviously put the explanation of His word into your mind if you are eager for that to be the case. So my conclusion from this is that God will assist anyone who is eager to gain an understanding of His word, by making chemical changes in their brain so that their interest is sustained and this seems to have the side effect making it difficult to become depressed. It seems to be that the level of highness is proportional to the amount of faith that is shown, this could also be linked to the fact that a persons belief in something is shown by how much they want to tell other people about it. So if you go into a church and they do not seem be telling you, or the other people around them, about God's kingdom and the treasures that he has waiting for them, then this must mean that they do not believe in those things themselves and the lack of belief then causes them to feel down because the drugs have been withdrawn.
Getting out of the depression
If you read my two articles called "Will the real Holy Spirit step forward please?" and "The Holy Spirit Can Return (If We Want It To)" you will see that I seem to have made some further breakthroughs when it comes to the psychology of how to get the most out of God's word. So when I go into a church and see the usual unhappy faces of people, I know that they have not been researching God's word properly, because they should have found out things like I have and they should then be eager to share their findings with the other members. We can easily see that God's word can keep a persons spirits up by looking at what happened to Elijah in I Kings 19:1-19 where it says "And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and withal how he had slain all the prophets with the sword. Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about this time. And when he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Beer–sheba, which belongeth to Judah, and left his servant there. But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers. And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat. And he looked, and, behold, there was a cake baken on the coals, and a cruse of water at his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again. And the angel of the LORD came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee. And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God. And he came thither unto a cave, and lodged there; and, behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and he said unto him, What doest thou here, Elijah? And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away. And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake: And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah? And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: because the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away. And the LORD said unto him, Go, return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus: and when thou comest, anoint Hazael to be king over Syria: And Jehu the son of Nimshi shalt thou anoint to be king over Israel: and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel–meholah shalt thou anoint to be prophet in thy room. And it shall come to pass, that him that escapeth the sword of Hazael shall Jehu slay: and him that escapeth from the sword of Jehu shall Elisha slay. Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him. So he departed thence, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth: and Elijah passed by him, and cast his mantle upon him." and you notice that Elijah was feeling very down at the beginning, but was then ready to journey for forty days and nights because of the food and water that God had prepared. You could easily become the ruler of this sorry world if you could find out what drugs God had put into the cake and the water from the cruse that Elijah had been given.
The high continues
We can then see how much God's pep talk had rejuvenated Elijah by looking at II Kings 1:9-15 where it says "Then the king sent unto him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him: and, behold, he sat on the top of an hill. And he spake unto him, Thou man of God, the king hath said, Come down. And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty. Again also he sent unto him another captain of fifty with his fifty. And he answered and said unto him, O man of God, thus hath the king said, Come down quickly. And Elijah answered and said unto them, If I be a man of God, let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And the fire of God came down from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty. And he sent again a captain of the third fifty with his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him, and said unto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the life of these fifty thy servants, be precious in thy sight. Behold, there came fire down from heaven, and burnt up the two captains of the former fifties with their fifties: therefore let my life now be precious in thy sight. And the angel of the LORD said unto Elijah, Go down with him: be not afraid of him. And he arose, and went down with him unto the king." and we see here that Elijah was back to his best and was feeling good because he had stayed with God and His word even when he was at a low point in his life. After reading all of this I hope you can see that God is also a master of psychology and knows how to keep His servants going even through the direst of situations and they have mostly never had any need to use the low quality drugs that mankind tries to dish out.
The reason for the drugs
There is one final thing that does have me a bit worried though and it is the fact that God is prepared to go to such lengths to keep our spirits up. Of late I have been studying end time prophecies and I came across something that had me a bit puzzled and it caused me to try to avoid continuing with my study of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. I was doing just fine avoiding it when some new thoughts seemed to enter my head from nowhere and I found I suddenly had an interest in finding out about the fourth kingdom that was mentioned in Daniel 2 and 7. After studying, with the help of the new thoughts, I seemed to only be able to arrive at the conclusion that the fourth kingdom had not arrived yet and realised that this would obviously mean that we had not reached the time when the beast was going to "make war with saints, and to overcome them". This would then mean that God has to prepare us for when the war against us happens and for some of our deaths, so this would obviously involve some drugs to pep us up so that we do not get despondent when that time is upon us. This also means, that the people who say they are servants of God, will need to start removing the entertainments of this world, like TV and the cinema, so that they can get deep into Gods word and then receive the drugs that will prepare them for when the fourth kingdom arrives. You might be a bit sceptical about some of the things I am saying, but you will find that something drastic does need to happen in order for Jesus' prophecy in Matthew 24 to be fulfilled and the fourth kingdom fits the bill just nicely. You can read more about the arrival of the fourth kingdom in my article called "A Brief History of the End of the World" which uses parts of Daniel, Matthew and the Revelation of Jesus Christ to explain more about what will happen.
Finally I am hoping that this article will encourage the non sceptics into seeking God and His word with a new zeal so that we can be ready for what God has in store for us, because there is one thing that we can be sure about with God and that is that He would not be challenging mankind's drug dealers unless He had a good reason that is also in our best interest and you can also be assured that He will only be giving out drugs that are of the highest quality.
