In this conversation I am speaking to Abdul who is a Muslim at Speakers Corner Hyde Park, about where Allah thinks the sun sets in the Quran. When speaking about this subject, most Muslims seem to have to just make something up and then help out Allah by explaining that it only appeared to Dhul-qarnain that the sun was setting in a muddy spring.
Because modern Christians are too lazy to read, they don't seem to have bothered to examine the Quran to find out the things that have obviously been made up. These made up things will then obviously cause problems for Muslims when they are challenged about them.
The conversation then continued on to how the Quran translators had used a modern word in their writings, which would not have been used in the time of their prophet. Another obvious mistake in Surah 21:33 is that it says that the sun has a course, while we know now that the sun is stationary in the solar system.
