In this recording I am speaking to a Catholic preacher at Speakers Corner Hyde Park and I decided to ask him about where some of the beliefs of the Catholic church came from. It turned out that the Catholics really do believe that their pagan practices do come from the early church believers, but they also seem to ignore the fact that the BIble does not support a lot of the pagan things that they are doing. One big thing that he did correct me on is that I used to think that it was Constantine who brought the pagan practices into their church, but I ended up finding out that these pagans seemed to have taken over shortly after the Apostles were murdered, with Constantine just then having to get the pagans who had successfully taken over the church, to agree on which pagan practices would be the dominant ones in the new church that Constantine did form.
