In this recording I am speaking to a Muslim about Surah 4:34 where Allah advises a Muslim on the procedure that he should use when he has a wife who is disobedient. One interesting thing about this verse is that it says if they fear disobedience, rather than if they are disobedience, so a husband can even do the things mentioned in the verse to his wife, even if they have not physically done anything wrong. The version of the verse that I read is from the Yusuf Ali version which is the most friendly and inaccurate translation, so I have also included the Sahih International version which is from quran.com, so that you can see how the English translators will sometimes try to fix what they see as problems in the Quran.
