Did Jesus do away with the Deuteronomy 28 curses?

Jesus destroying the law?

I have spoken to some so called Christians about the curses in Deuteronomy 28 and they seem to insist that these curses have been done away by Jesus. I have even asked a church Deacon if Jesus has destroyed some of the law and he said yes, which obviously contradicts what Jesus said. When I asked him if Jesus was mistaken, he just gave his usual smile and didn't bother to answer the question in a serious way. This is one of the major problems that I have come across with modern Christians and it is that they seem to be glad for the fact that God is not currently putting people to death for taking His words as a joke. I have a feeling that this is not happening because it is something that God does not want to do, but He had to do it with Israel because they were at the centre of His plan for the salvation of the world, while modern Christians are not, so why should He bother with them. I have also heard other modern Christians saying almost the same thing when they have their online discussions, but if you listen you will hardly hear them come out with any scriptures to back up what they are saying.

The forever curses

We can read of some of the curses in Deuteronomy 28:36-48 which says "The LORD shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone. And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the LORD shall lead thee. Thou shalt carry much seed out into the field, and shalt gather but little in; for the locust shall consume it. Thou shalt plant vineyards, and dress them, but shalt neither drink of the wine, nor gather the grapes; for the worms shall eat them. Thou shalt have olive trees throughout all thy coasts, but thou shalt not anoint thyself with the oil; for thine olive shall cast his fruit. Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them; for they shall go into captivity. All thy trees and fruit of thy land shall the locust consume. The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low. He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail. Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee: And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever. Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things; Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee." and we see here how it begins with God bringing the children of Israel and their king into an unknown nation, then as a continuation they would become a proverb and byword in all nations where they are lead. Then goes back and describes some other bad things which will again happen to them in the land until they are destroyed, with the curses then being upon them forever for a sign. When you read these curses, it is not said anywhere that God would repent of them, so it is obvious that the modern Christians have to make things up about what God has said, in order so that they can justify their cosy lives.

Does the Prophet disagree with God?

When the modern Christians say that Jesus has done away with the curses, it is something that they have to just make up out of thin air. I would like to see them try to convince Moses about this, because he knows what God is like and he even talked about Jesus as we can see in Deuteronomy 18:15-19 which says "The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; According to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not. And the LORD said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him." and we see here no mention that this Prophet was going to do away with anything that Moses has said, so this is more evidence that the modern Christians are just making up their own words. Also Moses said the above words before the curses were mentioned, so if God intended the Prophet to do away with some of them, then you would expect Him to have informed Moses of this, so that he could put a footnote about it at the end of the text. We can also know that Jesus Himself did not expect to be doing away with the curses on Israel, because of what He says in Luke 21:20-24 which is "And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which are in Judæa flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled." and we see here how Jesus is confirming the part of the curse where the Israelites will be lead away captive out of the land, just as was prophesied in Deuteronomy 28, so if anyone tells you that Jesus has done away with those curses, then they are just making things up themselves. This also shows that there are only fake Gentile Jews who are in Israel at the moment, treading the place down with their prostitutes and other shameful things.

What should the real Israelites be doing

After Deuteronomy 28, Moses then gives the Israelites the real way in which the curses will be lifted, which we can read of in Deuteronomy 30:1-8 which says "And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee, And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul; That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee. If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers. And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee. And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day." and we see here how the curses will be lifted when God has returned the real children of Israel into the land, not before, so the fake Christians will have to blatantly scribble these verses out of their Bibles, if they want to continue with their "Jesus has done away with God's curses on the children of Israel" doctrine that they have made up. Note also that the main requirement of the return is that the children of Israel should "return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day", so we know that the fake Jews who are currently in the land, are not the real people, because they are currently dirtying it up with their brothels and gay pride.

Christians helping the fake Jews

The saddest part about this whole episode is that the modern Christians seem to be putting a lot of effort into doing away with parts of the Bible, so that their doctrines can succeed at the expense of God's doctrines. God is trying to clean the world up and wants to use His people to do it, but the modern Christians are instead helping to keep the world dirty by trying to do away with God's commandments, helping people to believe the fake Jews are the real Jews, telling their women that they can trample all over God's commandments relating to them in the Old and New Testaments and sending up fake preachers who hardly use any Bible verses while mostly will just give their opinion about God's word. If you are one of these fake Christians who is enjoying your life and thinks that God is blessing you because of that, then I am afraid that you will need to read a lot more of what Paul is saying in his letters, so that you can repent and then start to receive the chastening of the Lord that should be happening.
