When we look at the situation that the modern Christian church is in it is obvious that they have strayed a long way from how the church was operated in the Bible, because of how divided everything is. One of the big causes for the current division is of course the reformation, where a group of pagans decided that they had had enough with the Catholic churches control, so they then decided to leave and start up their own church, which did not follow the things that they did not like, but they did keep on following the pagan practises that they did like, like Sunday worship and eating pork. The other thing that they did take from the Catholic church, even though you will not hear non Catholic church leaders mentioning this much, is that they also kept the parts of the Bible translations that they did like as well and we can see this in relation to the use of the name "Lucifer" by a lot of modern Christians, even though they do not realise that this name is not there in the original Hebrew, but was later added to one of the original Catholic translations. So next time you hear your church preachers trying to say the Devil's name is Lucifer, you should take them quietly aside and inform them of the error of their ways.
