The Wicked Flee

When you look at what is happening in the world, it would seem as if the forces of darkness are in a very dominant position, which unfortunately then causes the people, who prefer the ways of darkness, to feel more confident about what they are doing. When you go out for a walk, or have to take the public transport to your destination, it usually is not that rare for you to find some of these kinds of people and it is usually not a good idea to mess with them, unless you have to. The rulers of the darkness of this world might be running things now, but there will still be times when the righteous will find some vindication for the position that they have taken. I wasn't even thinking of writing an article like this, but I ended up witnessing something, that reminded me of something that King Solomon from the Bible had said.
While I was getting on a bus in London, I noticed that two young men had waited until everyone had gotten on, before they made their way towards the bus doors. They then presented their passes and the scanner indicated that they did not have any money on their cards, but the driver still let them on, because it seems as if bus drivers have been instructed to not try to force people of the bus that they are driving, but should instead then leave these types of people to the inspectors. I went upstairs and sat down, then the two fare dodgers came upstairs and sat down in a seat that was in front of my one. The bus then moved off and eventually stopped at a stop where a uniformed person was waiting to get on. The two dodgers looked out of the window and seemed a bit uncertain about what to do, while I was thinking the usual of; there is nothing to worry about, because the Beast's image is not here yet. After a short while they decided to leave the bus, while the uniformed person was getting on. The bus then moved off and the uniformed person ended up getting off at the next stop.
It seems as if the moral of this short story is that more people need to read their Bible and understand that the ways of the wicked are going to be terminated when the day of judgement arrives. King Solomon has said many wise things in his proverbs and the one that is relevant to this particular incident is Proverbs 28:1 which says "The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion." and we see here how well this describes what did happen, because no one was chasing the two fare dodgers off of the bus, but their guilty consciences decided to step in and give them an invisible judgement inside their heads.
